1. What do we learn when we study history?

Ans:

-We will learn about the record and the study of past human events that have shaped the way the world is today .

-We learn how failed inventions can acutually benefit us.



2. Name four good reasons for studying history:

1. Learning from past sucesses and failures
2. Developing our critical thinking skills
3. Understanding and respecting one another
4.Understanding change and how our society came to be.





Reflection:
This chapter enables us to classify why we study history and why it is important to do so. By doing so, we can learn from past failed inventions and prevent from following in their footsteps and also improve on their ideas to come up with ideas that are even more creative and innovative. History also allows us to learn what the past civilisations and other states have thought (in terms of writings, artifacts, complex drainage systen (Indus)) We can also learn the root of what happened and it may even help us in future projects
